The Paw Pad

If I asked my dog to review this place, I think he would say 5 stars. He is so excited whenever I come here for doggy daycare. I believe he plays all day when he stays at the Paw Pad... but that gets to why I can't give a full 5 stars. There is too little transparency as to what is happening while he stays here. I can't give 5 stars to any doggy daycare that doesn't share access to its play area cameras with owners. I'm missing really useful information for his training by being able to observe his behavior around other dogs. I also don't get well informed answers when I ask about his day. I never know if he ate his meal or if there were any issues I need to address in his training. There is usually a staff change between drop off and pick up, so I generally get a guess more than a response when asked. Such as "He must have ate, because I don't see any food...., I didn't hear anything, etc.." The staff is nice, but there doesn't seem to be any formal method of sharing information between shifts and passing it along to the owners. As a result of low transparency, I use the Paw Pad less than I could. In general, the employees appear to like dogs and enjoy working there. From my dog's reaction I assume he is enjoying himself. Without more visibility, I don't have negative or positive experiences to point out. Having more transparency would help them stand out from other options.

Did not have a good experience at this location. I was told one price for boarding and day care in person but once my husband picked up our Labrador retriever he was charged a totally different price. I called back to figure out why this happened but they were absolutely no help. It was brushed off and I was told I didn’t talk to the “right person” at drop off. This was Definitely not a good first experience which I explained. I would recommend as a best business practice to print out an itemized bill before all customers leave and provide them a copy so there are no discrepancies at pick up. This is a courtesy to customers.

Both my girl Belle and I LOVE The Paw Pad! The staff is incredibly kind and patient with my girl and she gets so excited when I get her harness out and she knows she’s headed to day care. I have used The Paw Pad for both daycare and boarding, and the experience is always positive for both of us. I can travel with peace of mind knowing that Belle is happy and well taken care of.

My Buddy Wuddy has been going here for 6 years and he absolutely loves it. The staff takes great care of him, and it definitely has become his home away from home. The customer service is always exceptional. It makes me feel good to see him so happy when we arrive. I can trust that he’s in good hands whether it’s for the day or a weekend.

I couldn’t recommend a better place to watch my baby’s. The staff is amazing, some of the best people I’ve met in my life. My pupperz are always so happy there and get so excited when I say “ok time for day care” they RACE to the door and into the car and that’s how I know they are treated so well here. I can’t imagine anyone else taking care of these furry babies of mine. 10/10 recommend if you are looking for a home away from home for your furry little babies.
